For over a decade, JAI has been an integral part of Japan’s participation in the International Space Station (ISS) program. Working closely with our parent company, Japan Manned Space Systems corporation (JAMSS) in Tokyo and with the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), JAI’s team of experienced professionals has established core competencies in areas of Program Support, Systems safety, Human Space Flight and International Coordination. In additional to our ongoing support to Japan’s human space efforts, JAI also provides direct support to U.S. businesses and academia involved in ISS commercial logistics resupply services and long term space exploration.

JAI personnel are seasoned and knowledgeable with an experience base that encompasses U.S. and Japanese manned and unmanned space programs within both the public and private sectors. Our diverse workforce includes veterans of the Apollo, Skylab, Space Shuttle and International Space Station Programs as well as Japan’s Engineering Test Satellite Program. Our workforce also includes early and mid-career professionals who directly support the real-time operation of current ISS elements as well as support the development of advanced space technologies and space vehicle systems which will support future U.S. and international space endeavors.
